Finally!

Had this been around a couple years ago, I would have got that. I opted for the 20" govt since it was the lightest option at the time in 20" with a 1/7. Back then a govt profile was a big deal in a world of HBARs. This wasn't long ago.

Lot of options opening up in the AR world. The internet is playing a huge role in educating gunowners causing a demand for practical firearms. Not these ridiculous HBARs whose sole purpose is to save the manufacturer money.

This with a PRI or some light fore-end would make for a nice light and handy rifle with all the velocity and ballistics of a 20" but without the unnecessary weight.

They just came out with a lightweight 16" midlength too. They had 14.5" light mids, and 16" light carbines, but no light mids. I thought I was going to have to go custom. CMMG rocks!
