It appears the folks at NASA are having trouble communicating with the Spirit rover on Mars. If they can't get it working again, that means it will be yet another Earth-launched lander/rover that fell strangely silent in that neck of the woods. I'm not paranoid, but I'd almost wager NASA received this picture from Spirit shortly before it went silent:

Now would an Illudium Q-36 Explosive Space Modulator generate enough EMP to fry Spirit's electronics? :D

I was thinking almost the same thing.
How 'bout a caption? Something like " Hey, Quark, come over here and take a look. It's another one of them weird things! What's the rate for scrap today anyway?" :D
 
How many is that now that weve crashed ,lost, burnt up upon landing ? I think the martians are sabatagoing (sp) them at night when no ones watching :)
