Do any of you do any thing special to your barrels when shooting copper bullets like the Barnes? Do you have to clean the barrel more often?

I read somewhere that to help with accuracy, you are supposed to clean your bore really well everytime you switch from shooting lead bullets to copper and vice versa. Has anyone else heard anything like this?

I use copper solvent occasionally when shooting any jacketed bullets.

Switching from lead to jacketed or copper solids and back again does in fact require through bore cleaning for best performance with either lead or jacketed bullets.
