For shotguns, the list of regular and specialty rounds is extensive and fairly easy to recall:

Buck
Bird
Slug (rifled or saboted)
Beanbag
Baton
Pepper
Bangers
Flare
Flechette

and others of even more dubious utility or novelty.

For rifles there are. . .

FMJ
Soft points
Hollowpoints
Armor piercing
Tracer
Rubber

and what others if any? Please don't include blanks.
 
sabots, solids, incendiary, spotter, VLD, BT, ballistic tip, tons more
