what does eveybody think of lee speed dies i just bought a lee hand press and i wondering if this die would be better the a set of dies

Better? I doubt it.
I think a die that is dedicated to one operaton does that one operaoin bettter than a combo die that has interchangable/moving parts.
just my opinion,ymmv.
once you get the lock rings in place on a 2 or 3 or 4 die set,changing them is not very time consuming at all.

I have a similar set up and I can't say enough good things about the Lee Speed Die. I have three. It loads great ammo, that will function perfectly in my tight chambered match pistols. It's ALOT faster to change functions than conventional dies in a single stage press.
I think the speed die is the best way to load ammunition in a single stage press. They are perfect for the Lee hand press.
The only real difference in that the Speed die does the loading steps in a slightly different order from a conventional die set. The difference is immaterial.
