Sppedloaders that work?

I just picked up a safariland speedloader (comp 1) for my model 36. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, but the grip (factory j frame) gets in the way.

How to fix? Please and thanks.

What Mike said... also, some speedloaders are "fatter" than others, which may affect their fit to your gun. I use HKS units, and find that they work well with most revolvers if the grip is relieved enough to get them to the cylinder.

That's why law enforcement agencies want officers to practice with their equipment. They find out what works, what doesn't work and sometimes how to make it work.

The grip is a common problem with some speedloaders regardless of the brand. You have to have enough clearance to allow the body of the speedloader to be aligned with the cylinder. Absent that, it's speedstrips.
