Speer lists their tmj, which is a copper plated bullet, but I’m not telling you that is a direct substitute. It does have data for lead bullets, which is a fine place to start.
Speer has data for Speer bullets only. Their lead bullets are soft swagged not hard cast.
That said, the starting loads for like bullets can be used with others as long as one realizes their not going to behave the same. The max may or may not be as high a charge with your component and pistol, and velocities likely won`t follow as close as they would with the same components the book used.
Drat! I've come into about 1000 Rainier plated bullets that I had intended to load up. Who produces a manual that includes data for Rainier bullets? Does Rainier crank out their own manuals by chance?
