Speer 158g SWCHP

Howdy all, and Merry Christmas/Holidays!

I wanted to ask you all if you feel the Speer .38 158g SWCHP has good expansion at modest velocities, or is the lead too hard?

Making a batch of FBI Load for put-away should any "SHTF" in the future.

Speer lhp's are soft. The expanded round below was recovered after having been shot through three, one gallon, water filled milk jugs.

I've used both the Speer and Hornady 158gr LSWC/HP bullets. Both are soft because they are swedged but I like the Hornady bullets a little better. they are more accurate in my revolvers for FBI replica ammo.
