Does any one know the difference between 9mm Luger +P 124gr Gold Dot bullet, and it's exact equivalent Short Barrel version?
I mean they're both +P and 124gr.
That's the deal?

Usually different bullet versions at least, cavity-wise.

Short barrel has a slightly larger cavity for more reliable expansion at lower velocities. I think it was originally designed to work out of a 2" barrel. If your barrel is around 3.5 - 4" or more I would just use the regular 124 +p.

I suspect a faster burning powder as well to reach volocity from a short barrel. This is the load I prefer in my CCWs.
