Speer Lawman .357 sig - is this normal or bad?

Oxidation. Brass and copper are subject to all types of atmospheric corrosion. Appears those cartridges have been around for quite a while or stored subject to some humidity.

Ammo should still function, but does look like crap.
Cant add much to this one, I will say however I've shot a ton of that brand in .38 spl and I have seen very similar results on mine as well, my end analysis ? Shoot it see what it does, in that caliber more than any other I doubt feeding will be an issue.

Never shot 357 sig, but I've shot several boxes of blazer brass in 45 ACP that looked exactly like that. No issues at all. I didn't chrono each shot and I wasn't competing, but for normal practice it worked just fine.

I had about a half dozen boxes of 115gr 9mm lawman I bought about 18 months ago. I still have one box that looks just like the stuff in the pics. It shot fine, and I have no problems shooting it. It's on top of the ammo box so I will be sure to grab it first, followed by the Perfecta.

Your options are to shoot it, throw it away, sell it to someone else, or contact the vendor.
With the latter you can send them a pic of the ammo, take measurements of it, and see if they will pay for the return shipping as the ammo is sub quality.
With shooting it, take pics of the ammo and if your gun blows up you'll get a new gun cuz you can blame the ammo provided you make a case for that with the manufacturer.
Either way make a decision.

What would happen if you tried the ammo and none would feed? Well you'd measure it, see that it was off and contact the vendor and or manufacturer. So why not that here?

You buy something on line. It arrives. You open the box. It looks off to you. What do ya do? Doesn't matter if it's ammo, shoes, bargain socks or Lego Batman...a small item of everyday life. Hardly worthy of notice.

After reading this I went and checked the appearance of the CCI/Speer Blazer Brass-Lawman I had in 9 and 45. From a quick look, they all had some degree of this, none pristine. What I've shot shoots well. The JHP variants from Hornady, Federal, Winchester and Remnigton were picture worthy-clean. The range stuff like the CBC Magtech 9 and 45 was also clean. The HSM reloads in .38 SPL LRN bought in the 90's the cases are spotty-tarnished, finger printed to some degree.

I've see ammo in this shape before. Worked fine.

A buddy of mine had a .40 that jammed every single time with truncated cone ammunition. The shape allowed the front of the rim to catch the top rear part of the chamber and prevent it from chambering. Every single time.

Since it worked will all other bullet shapes he elected to just carry other ammo rather than Dremel the rear of the chamber slightly. Good choice.

I have a Glock 22, .40 S&W as well as Glock 31, in .357 Sig. Both 3ed gen. Both function flawlessly with just anything, truncated cone or JHPs.

And yes I use them both.
