We were at the range the other day and my stepdad brought some (Speer?) Lawman ammo in the blue boxes. Standard 180 grn .40 cal. In one of the boxes, a round had the bullet in backwards. As in the base of the bullet was out and the front of the bullet was seated in the case. I didnt get any pictures of it.
Also the ammo was dirty. Not as in it made my weapon dirty, but the rounds themselves were dirty. It looked like the whole batch had gone through a broken machine that leaked some sort of hydraulic fluid on them. The cases had discolored spots on them, and some of the round looked like they were old, the copper jackets turned dark.
I dont know what happened here, I thought a lot of people like this ammo. Did we get a really bad batch? It didnt shoot very well either, opened up my groups by about 2 inches. I think Ill stick to the WWB.
P.S. My stepdads XD shot it fine
