I had a fantastic weekend shooting a parts bin AR 15 with a CMMG stainless 22lr conversion.
I had 15 magazines each of which held about 23. <the amount that could be packed in there seemed to vary>
we shot about 1100 rounds of federal 550, and not one, not ONE jam. <except when one of the guys brought out a box of remington golden bullets, ALL of them jammed till we gave up after about 20 rounds>
We had a blast, really had a excellent time doing little shooting while moving drills, rapid reloads from a back pocket, shooting prone, kneeling, etc.
Just an absolute blast.
I could not recommend this product any higher, completely surpassed my expectations. I belive, in fact I KNOW it is the most reliable 22lr I own.
For 30 bucks worth of ammo, we had an entire day of fun.
The ruger 10/22s sat in their cases all day which was kind of sad.
We also shot 100 rounds of 223 but really everyone was having just as much fun with the 22lr as they were with the 223.
Kids, wives, and the guys had a blast. Could not be happier.
Oh and, an AR gets VERY dirty after 1100 rounds of 22lr. I may have to find a better cleaning tool to make the cleaning easier and get the patches into the little creaks and crevices.
Just wanted to post a little review.
