Let's say i want to build an AR pistol using a SBA3 Pistol Brace and a 8.5" upper in 300BLK. What lower would you get? A Spikes Tactical or Aero Precision? The LPK will come from the same manufacturer.

Honestly I don't believe it matters. I'd go by price/availability.

For my last 2 builds, including a .300 pistol, I used Aero lowers and uppers. I didn't use Aero LPKs though, but have had zero issues with either.

I keep finding Aero M-four E-one received sets for the same price as the Gen-two regular AR sets.
I prefer them purely for aesthetics.

I would look for those at SchyulersArms.
I bought a "Blem" set for two hundred. Upper, lower and handguard. I can't find the blemish. It said it was scratched. It isn't.

I used exclusively Aero parts for my Blackout. With a Sig Romeo five and KAK Brace.

I'm sure there is no difference between the two. Technically, there shouldn't be...
They are both reputable companies. (Though I only have experience with the small parts and accessories with Spikes, no receivers yet.)

I’d take a few magazines and test fitment in the magwell for whatever brand you go with.

My aero precision stripped lower requires an unusual amount of force to both insert and remove several usgi aluminum mags I’ve tried in it (Center, Okay, NHMTG) It’s about 50/50. Some fit great, some require force.

Sent it to aero and they say it’s in spec. My plans are to file the magwell to get it to work with my “problem” mags like the other 5 AR15’s I’ve used them in.

Do yourself a favor, take a few mags and test fitment.
