They are generally NFA friendly, just no large bore or explosive destructive devices (which would mean no NFA DD Shotguns).

Then why do they allow the unrestricted sell and use of Large professional size Fireworks?
(IE 40+mm Mortars etc...)

Democrats passed the Sporting Purpose Clause in 1968 NOT Republicans.

It's pathetic and sad how many folks think the SPC was authored by Republicans.

I will credit Democrat Harold Volkmer of Missiouri getting the law changed from 'may import' sporting guns to 'shall import' sporting guns in 1986.

For us to be able to make such swift advances would require a large number of the public not only be on our side, but hopping mad about it, as well.

Like the attacks on 9/11? Or a new one? What homeland security SHOULD be telling the public is the truth: "If there is another attack or large natural disaster, you WILL be on your own for a while." Instead of "be vigilant" (which I interperet as "be good sheep") they should say "be prepared".
Maybe people would be more concerned about their 2nd ammendment then.
