I carry SOB in cool weather with a sweatshirt or jacket. No problem.
Long before I got a CHL I used a fanny pack when I was exercise walking, hiking or biking. It was a small cheap one very unlike the type many use for CC. Always full of crap.
After I got my CHL I still used it for for my Bobcat when out walking etc.
I now have slightly bigger one that will carry my Bersa or PCR.
Even with an extra mag its not over loaded. It's just a cheap Columbia fanny pack you can find at any trail shop. Great place to hang the cell and a H2O bottle when out at the park.
I generally have my keys and glasses in there too. Sometimes a small camera. I always have at least one of and sometimes both my kiddos with me. Whenever I go anywhere with this thing on...regardless of how I am dressed....I like to let people see me go in and out of that bag a lot. I put my keys in, take out the kids glasses or put'em in. Put my cell in or take it out. One pocket is always unzipped or partially so. An especially nice touch is to keave just the corner of a kleenex or two showing. Peps with small kids ALWAYS have kleenez.
I doubt even the CHLers around me give it any thought. But there is aways a gun in the back pocket.
I pretty well convinced if you are wearing exercise cloths and tennis shoes or are fussing around with a couple of kids no matter how you are dressed, a fanny pack just seems to be part of the oufit and and no one gives it a second thought.
Those big leather ones are nice and they also just scream out...I gotta gun.
