Hello Folks,
I recently inherited a springfield 1903 mark I. I know this is the type built for the Pedersen device. However, I just had a quick question regarding parts for this model. Are the parts compliant with 03a3's? or just 1903s? According to some random websites it is similar in all respects (with the exception of the cut on the side of the receiver) to the 1903, but I wanted to check with some more qualified people.

Thanks, happy shooting!

All of the Mark I specific parts were removed when the rifles were re-arsenaled (after removal of the Pedersen device from use) and put back into service.

For all intents and purposes, it is just a straight M1903 with an extra hole on the left side of the receiver. All the internals should be exactly the same.
