Springfield 1911 'champion' trade for an AK74 Tantal?

hey all - havent been too active here on THR lately, been at the fire house alot and wife / baby are back from college in California...

But I have a possible good deal on my plate - perhaps..

I have been trying to sell an AK74 Polish Tantal, accessories and 500 rounds ammo for 650.00 and the market for mil-spec semi autos has dropped off. I think the AK is about 80% or better...

We (me and gun buddies) think the 1911 is about 75% or so... So my dilemna is whether I take a straight 1 for 1 trade like the gentleman has offered, or if I should ask for some cash too?

AK and ammo value, realistically is about 750.00 (paid 728.00 for rifle and 120.00 for ammo) and the 1911 goes for about 700-825 new....

Here she is she exhibits some holster / bluing wear on various parts and looks like it lived a life as a concealed carry gun (the owner confirms this, and is a very honest guy too... seems pretty solid too)

So what is the verdict? And if anyone could provide a solid 'used' value (cash) for a Springfield 1911 lightweight champion with Novak night sights it would be helpful....

out of the two firearms, which one do you have a need or want for? When the "gun grabbers" start talking the AK will be worth alot more than the 1911. The AK is alot harder to use as a concealed carry piece so the 1911 will be more desireable to me. I usually trade off my "spray and pray" rifles for handguns because my needs and wants are for handguns to be used in my training classes.
