I have a couple of questions about my Champion.
1. I swapped out the mainspring housing to one without the lock. Other than finding out after I got home with the parts that I needed a new mainspring cap the swap went well. I used the factory spring. All seems well but I am wondering if I should have swapped it out also.
2. This pistol has a dual recoil spring system. It is also captive and requires a small plastic piece to be snapped on the end of the guide rod to remove it from the slide. The gun runs fine and while I don't want to fix what isn't broken it seems to me that there must be a simpler method. Is there any way to swap the dual spring system out to a non-captive single spring system?
What do you guys think?
