There is a 30-30 for sale in town for less than $300 a friend asked me to check out for them. I know Springfields have a good reputation, but I am unfamiliar with this particular model. I went and looked at it today, the bore is good. The bluing is worn and the stock is a bit scarred and shows signs of a previous repair. The barrel looks good as does the magazine.
Does anyone have this rifle? If so how good is it? Is a bit under $300 high or fair for this model?
