I'm looking for a good shoulder holster that will fit a Springfield Tactical XD 5" .45acp.

Comfort and ease of use is more of a concern than concealability. Searching online, I've found plenty of holsters that fit the 4" and 9mm/40 models but nothing that specifically references a 5" XD.

Any recommendations?

My wife has one and it is a dang good holster, quality is very good. She carries the .40SC version of the H721 O.T. It is very comfortable and stays in place well doesn't jab you in the side when sitting, for the money I can't think of a better holster.

I have an XD45 Service and use an Uncle Mike's vertical rig, works well especially when I wear it under a motorcycle jacket...

Thanks for the info.
I'm leaning towards the Galco. What is the difference between getting a full system rig like the Miami Classic II System $174.95 vs. just getting a harness, holster, and magazine carrier (like listed below)? The full system doesn't list XD 45 5" as an option, but the individual components are all there separately.
MCII HARNESS FOR SYSTEM $41.00 with S3H SHOULDER HOLSTER COMPONENT $78.45 and HCL MAG CARRIER FOR SHOULDER SYSTEM $55.50

I'm not sure there is any difference other than you'd have to attach the components yourself. I've been thinking of getting an MCII for one of my other pistols and then buying the extra components for my XD so I'd have options on what to carry. Let us know how it works out whatever you decide to get.

Wanting a shoulder holster but not enamored with getting one with a 3-digit price tag I purchased an Under Armor by High Noon Holsters and have found it to be terrific. It is made out of a high quality synthetic material, is nicely adjustable and carries and conceals extremely well. Incidentally, they do list the 5" XD as a gun for which the holster is made.
