My dad owns a compact xd that he purchased for concealed carry. However, he can't find a way to carry it concealed with the clothes he usually wears to work. Could anyone sugjest a good holster please? He wears a button up shirt that MUST be tucked in. Thanks, i would like to get him carrying this gun as soon as possible, as his is a very good shot with it, and is currently carrying a pf9, wich i would like him to ditch, because im the one that cleans all his guns, and its a pain to field strip and reasemble, and he only has one 7 round mag for it, and its not good for rapid fire, and its horribly inaccurate, and i could go on and on. Thanks in advance.

I like to use a cover garment like a fleece vest or sportcoat to hide my xd40sc when carrying. I generally use an outside the waistband holster, do own a couple of good IWBs though.

Or maybe he could wear pants with cargo pockets.

I carry an XD40sc every day but I don't have to tuck my shirt in.
If I did, I'd not hesitate to try a Cross Breed Super Tuck. (based on the folks here who are in the know about tucked in carry)

Check High Noon Holsters....They have a little of everything, and also have a pretty decent list of in stock items they can get out right away. Absolutely no shortage of holsters for that particular Springfield.

I carry a XD9SC in a Galco King Tuk, same thing as a Crossbreed Supertuck for the most part. Very comfortable after it is adjusted properly and worn in for a bit.

Ok, thanks for the sugjestions. I am thinking about that crossbread. Thanks again.

I always recommend the Raven Concealment Phantom for the polymer framed pistols, it just seems like a natural match.

With the one holster and different attachments you can wear it IWB or OWB. You can adjust the ride height and cant and with the right attachments it is tuckable.

Garrett Industries Silent Thunder holsters are another option. Not as versatile, but they have very smooth leather lining.
