braved the eleven degree Mn temps today and took my new/used springer tactical XD to the range.
the gun must have been a case of lost acuracy do to being ridiculously dirty.
took me a while to get her all cleaned out.
im guessing whoever owned it before me either shot it a lot or carried it a lot but never if ever cleaned it.
shoots good though put 50 rounds of mag tec 180 grn through it.
no malfunctions.
fired 20 rounds slow fire.
10 douple taps
and 20 rapid fire.
no hicups, the brass looks clean with no dents or dings.
target was at 25 yards. slow fire grouped 4 inches, rapid fire grouped 10-12 with a fwe rounds outside that (it was freezing ya know)
I like this gun a lot, its almost the same size as my 1911 and carries about the same. the extended trigger guard is good for shooting with gloves on and the ambi mag release is a big seller for me as my thumb is too short to reach most releases, i trip the release with my trigger finger on the XD which keeps the the booger hook of the bang switch during reloads, a plus.
