Springfield XDm .45 3.8

If there are already reviews on the new Springfield XDm.45 guide me to a HR link.

Otherwise anyone own one yet and put a couple hundred rounds through it?

I don't have a .45 and this (other than a 1911 someday) is the first thing that has somewhat interested me since an HK compact.

Bud's has them for $577 and although I have considered the M&Pc .45 after owning a 9Pro and 40c, they are nice, but unremarkable.

You might want to check out www.xdtalk.com The compact has only been out a few weeks and most of the reports I have seen have been at the XD forum.

I ran into this a week or so ago. It is what got me interested.

I have a S&W M&P 40c with an XGrip, similar concept with the two different magazines.

I actually ordered the XDm 4.5 9mm today, should have it in about a week. I shot the 3.8 9mm and while the trigger was sloppy the gun was like a fat ex-girlfriend, it felt comfortable and familiar and was very accurate in my hands. Will it replace my Glocks and HK's as my trust guns? No time soon but I am thinking of trying some competition shooting and bought the XDm for that purpose.
