I see that this model is in the catalog but I have not seen it at any shops local or online. Also, I don't think I have found any youtubes or discussions related to it. Everything comes up as the XD.

I think I have decided on this gun but would like to get the XDM if available instead of the XD. If not, the XD will be fine.

The XD(M) isn't available as a subcompact, the last time I checked. Around here the XD subcompacts in 9mm and .40 are quite common under the glass at most LGS, and priced rather affordably, too.

Maybe look elsewhere?
 
Ok. I see now.

I guess, I assumed since the catalog title said "XD(M)™ Catalog" that it was a special catalog for XD(M) and I did not go further down.
