Being new to CC, and holster wearing in general, I have been experimenting with holsters, belts, and postions to carry my HK PSP. I have never really owned good quality stuff...until now - I recently bought a Milt Sparks VMII and a Galco gun belt. I have been experimenting with different positions, and clothes, this week and have concluded that the weapon conceals nearly as well when worn between the belt and waistband, and is FAR more comfortable that way. The problem (if it is a problem) is that it squeaks quite a bit. When I move across the room, it sounds like I'm in the saddle. Will the noise die down a bit as the leather gets broken in? Has anyone else noticed this? As a newbie, I'm probably being overly sensitve to the sound, but I have to wonder if it will call attention to the fact I'm carrying.

It will tip off those in the know.

Try some talcum powder.

Congratulations you have selected excellent accesories!

You just could not do better than the selections you have made. Yes, they will squeak for a while but wearing the holster and belt next to your warm body will, over time, take care of the problem. There are other things you can try but I suggest that you call Milt Sparks and Galco and ask them what to do - they are the real experts. Good shooting;)

I cured that problem with one I had by doing yardwork.

I actually acommplished a lot - holster quit squeaking, gun fit holster better, I found the 'sweet spot" on my hip for IWB, realized / appreciated quality and workmanship more, better learned how well the design held up with bending, stooping, lifting, mowing, weed-eating...

The Mrs. at the time had a pizza delivered, well after the pizza and a shower, fresh clothes...she said the holster did not squeak one time while I napped on the couch wearing the IWB and gun...I snored...the holster didn't squeak tho'. :)
