I'm under the impression that small rifle primers are preferred in 9mm rounds meant to be run through subguns (including ARs). Considering the robust FP strike, I'd think it can't hurt. What say you?

I use regular SPP when loading for my Hipoint. Seems to work just fine. My rounds have no problem reaching the high(ish) velocities I am looking for. Sure couldnt hurt to try some for comparison though.

If it's an open bolt you won't get any "slamfires" regardless of primer because that's what they already do by design..
