SSR-85 from Atlantic-whos warranty?

I became interested in the Bulgarian AK rifle that Atlantic sells and wonder who imports it and provides warranty. Atlantic has a good reputation in our neck of the woods. The 14 mm threads sound good. How is the quality of this rifle? The ad looks tempting.It is more expensive than WASR, but better features.

Those are built in Bulgaria out of 2nds that Arsenal did not find usable (think WASR - Bulgarian style).

There have been many reviews of these on the various forums.

Because Arsenal's marketing department has gotten everyone on their "Bulgarian Kool-Aid", perhaps?

Right. I handled an SSR-85 distributed by Lew Horton-I think it was a good rifle, whether or not it was assembled in Bulgaria from rejects. I am wondering who's providing the warranty on these for Atlantic-it seems Global Trades has nothing to do w/it. Or warranty implies that Atlantic will refund it if it does not work?

We would be more than glad to give a customer 1 week to take the SSR rifle out and test fire etc , if there is a problem we will be glad to either exchange the rifle for another or refund your moneyand we will even cover return ship , we will not stick you with a bum gun no mater who made it etc. After that any warranty issues would be through the factory or importer but we would be more than glad to assit on pointing you in the right direction with contact people ,phone numbers etc.

Atlantic, thanks for the message. I look forward to receiving the SSR-85 from you. I already have the mags, a muzzle brake and a side scope mount plate to attach. Will post the impressions and pics when the gun gets here.

I am VERYYY impressed with Atlantic's customer service and will be gladly buying a couple rifles in the future from them... Who else has a sn (a bigger type company) on THR? There are a couple smaller companies that do but Atlantic has one and is pretty active with anything involving them.
