Received an SSR-85 from Atlantic, and the rifle did not disappoint me. The rifle is clearly built from new parts, numbers on the receiver, bolt and everywhere match, muzzle threads are left-handed, sharp and well-executed, no rust anywhere. Mags fit tight and without wobble. The rifle arrived with some, but not excess cosmoline and cleaning was easy. Atlantic sent me a a little flashlight as a gift. After disassembly and CLP lubrication, bolt cycles smoothly, and Tapco trigger breaks cleanly under 5 lbs. The trigger cut in the receiver is made for two-hook trigger, which will make a transition to a milled trigger very easy (not that it is necessary at all). The parkerizing is a bit thin, and there are small nicks on the barrel underneath the upper handguard, but thats about all I can quote as problematic. Adjusted the front sight only slightly and fired 10 rounds of Barnaul ammo off-hand for function, and there were no problems. I was able to hit the center of a 5.5-inch target at 50 yards twice. All in all, I am well pleased. Thanks, Atlantic.

Glad you are pleased with the SSR , we also have noticed that the park job was a bit thin , please let us know what king of accuracy you get with the rifle .

Hmm. Altlantic's website seems to be down at this time. Or has it changed?
