St.Louis PD auctioning authentic Thompson SMGs

This news shocked the heck out of me, in a good way.

The Saint Louis Police Department is auctioning off 29 prohibition-era Thompson Submachine guns in order to purchase new sidearms.

The cheapest is appraised at $14,000.
