I know it's a long shot but is anyone loading for a Stag 2T? I'm looking for a Stoney Point measurement using a AMAX 55Gr and/or 50Gr.

Thanks

Someone elses measurement won't do you any good. The whole idea is to measure throat and bullet fit, i.e. OAL, in your barrel/chamber, not someone elses.

You are wasting your time chasing the lands with them short bullets. Follow the data specs in the Hornady Loading Manual, and you will be fine.

Chasing the lands works with VLD type bullets like 75gr Amax, 80gr Amax, the Beger VLD, the 80gr Sierra and Nosler OTM.

I was not aware they made the .224" A-Max in anything except 52, 75, and 80 grain.

50 & 55 grain V-Max maybe?

And the Stag 2T has a 5.56 NATO chamber.
I don't think you can reach the rifling with 50 or 55 grain bullets.

As kelbro noted, your 2.250" - 2.260" magazine length will be the limiting factor anyway.
