FWIW, check out the Charles Daly CCD-15 M4 carbine or the M4LE, very happy with mine and has alot of built in mil-standard features. To each his own when you put down the cash though.

I own a Stag L.H. AR and a Bushmaster AR .
Both are good rifles ( i like the Stag better for short range 18 in Barrel) when sighted in properly, Busting clay bird chips at 100 yards is no problem.Aim small, miss small .always good practice.Got the Bushmaster used (dept turn in ) for $475 (just a little ware on the hand grip) from a THR member .Keep your eyes open for deals like this on the forum.
