Stag Upper

Just purchased one (should be in tomorrow). It's a 16" M4 w/ ARMS 40A2 BUIS. I'm going to use it with my Bushmaster lower.

Any opinions on the quality of Stag's uppers? How about fit/finish? Will this mate decently to my Bushmaster lower (snug fit, hopefully not too loose)?

Just want to make sure it's a decent upper.

Why do people always seem to ask these questions AFTER they buy them?

Stag is well known as a reputable manufacturer. I have a Stag upper on my M4gery and it has served well. Clint Smith reported that SW is in talks with them to build the MP15 for them.

Stag has recently had sighting issues with some of their uppers as discussed in another forum: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=311257&page=1

They are apparently aware of it and have fixed it, but you may want to zero it with your backup sight, just in case. My S&W (made by Stag) had the same issue. I just returned it and hopefully, it will also be fixed.

As for Stag products....there are many fine AR manufacturers & Stag is definitely on the top of that list!
