Looking to replace the stock grips on my Dan Wesson Heritage with some VZ grips but can't decide on a color. Hoping anyone with a stainless 1911 with some VZ grips could post up some pictures. Thanks

Don't have a pic to show you (Google can help you with that), but OD-colored VZ grips look great on a stainless steel 1911.

Dan Wesson with factory black double diamond VZs (the only VZ's I like):

And some green ones I just recently got:

I can't think of any color that doesn't look good on a 1911, stainless or not. There is a big reason why there is a huge aftermarket support for 1911 grips in nearly any material, design, or color.

In any case I think a dark wood looks great on brushed stainless 1911s.

Finding pictures via google is no problem but probably 99% of the pics don't say what color they are.

Shipwreck, those green grips look awesome!! Is that the Green Lantern pattern?

I did order some Brown Hyena grips for this Dan Wesson, so we'll see how they look.

Yes, they are the thin Green Lantern pattern. I'm still on the fence as to whether or not I like the color.

I think I should have went with my 2nd choice - the Tiger Stripe VZ double diamonds
