No, it's not on the retail market just yet. Also , I beleive I read somewhere that taurus has decided to not make the PT1911 in different barrel lengths, at least not at this time, due to production issues. You'll notice they removed mention of the compact version and such entirely from thier web site. Also they've removed anything about their 1911 model pistols chambered for calibers other than .45 acp.

The website still has all the different caliber 1911s on there 9mm, .40 and .45 The manaul for the PT1911 has info on the 1911C in the back. The barrel is 4.25" , 6+1 and weight is 36oz. I heard the Stainless will be out next year. Hope this helps.

Actually, look again .. the website does still have those guns listed on a page if you use the search function. I am correct though that they are not there under the normal menu navigation system anymore. i.e. Products / Pistols / 1911 Pistols

I read this today in an earlier post:

Jump on it! If you can get the stainless for $459 then by all means get it . I paid more than than for my blued one and if I did it over again I'd probably pay up to $600 for one. One problem though, I've heard Taurus is selling the blued version as fast as they can ship them, supposedly won't produce the SS model till next year. I originally wanted the SS too, hope you have more patience than me.

While I've not seen anything other than blued, I was told 5 were ordered for each of the 30 Sportsman's Warehouse stores around the country. The one in Phoenix where I got mine sells them for $450. Of the 5 ordered, they've received two... and I got the second one.

Oh, yeah, as an old Bullseye shooter with an accurized (more than the factory job) Colt Series 70 Gold Cup National Match with probably over 15,000 rounds through it, I'm really thrilled with the PT1911 !!
