stainless to blue finish

Sorry for the dumb question,but is there any wat to change a handgun from stainless to blued or robar ect.

I've been thinking of doing it to my 7 1/2" Redhawk, I Think it would be rather unique!
My friends think that I'm crazy. but truthfully, I believe that this Isn't the only evidence they have for that particular observation.

Um, no, stainless is well, stainless, and blueing is a from of controlled rusting,
what you can do is coat it (paint) with something like KG GunKote or Lauer Duracoat.

Wasn't Winchester putting blued finish on their stainless M 70 barrels back in the 50s and 60s?

I don't know if they plated the stainless tubes with iron or what they did, but it produced a pretty nice finish.

You can actually blue stainless steel.
Brownell's sell a special bluing salts chemical that will blue stainless steels used in firearms.

This NOT a job for anyone but a professional with the large and expensive bluing tank operation.
Results can be "iffy" until the process is learned.
