well I going to give this a try my question is
will the brass still need to be dry tumbled with like nu finish to protect
it from tarnishing ?
this will be new to me any input is helpful
Thanks

I think it all depends on how the brass is stored. If you live by the sea and store in a open box then the brass should turn green in no time. But if stored in sealed bags should be OK for a very long time.

I don't normally wax my brass, but the straight sided pistol case's are given a shot of furniture spray wax, then resized in carbide dies. That small amount of wax makes the sizing very easier, even with the carbide die.

How you rinse and dry may leave water marks and how you store would effect tarnish.

The only time I put wet tumbled brass in a dry tubler is to post load tumble to knock the lube off.

I rinse with 70% isopropyl alcohol and dry on a towel in the sun. Store in a closed container, either a cheap kitchen container of some sort or a ziploc bag. Takes a long time to start to turn, more than a year. Alcohol can be reused a number of times.

I rinse well in fresh water a few times to make sure all of the soap is gone, then use a large towel like a bowling ball hammock to tumble dry them a bit. lay them out on my bench on a towel for a few hours under a fan. I roll them around a few times during drying. Pistol brass dries in 1-1.5 hrs with this method, but I go for 2. Rifle brass, I let go over night to be sure. After loading, I either dry tumble for 5 min to remove sizing lube (rifle) or I give my pistol rounds a quick spritz of turtle wax quick detailer and tumble in my towel to buff. The buffing towel gets waxy enough over a month or 2 to not need spraying anymore. I can then store my rounds in original factory boxes that are scrounged for me without tarnishing.

The brass will start to tarnish regardless on how it is stored. What I like to do is to tumble in corn with nufinish for 1-2 hours to remove the case lube. They come out like super shiny and the polish protects it from tarnishing.

Before my vibratory tumbler died I would dry my brass in it with some NuFinish, came out shiny and a little slick. It will prevent tarnish for a while, at least 6 months in my case.

I second the ArmorAll Wash N Wax in place of conventional detergent. It leaves a carnuba wax finish on the brass. Not only does it protect the brass, it also somewhat lubes my pistol cases as they go through my Dillon press. Just plain stainless steel tumbling removed ALL of the carbon from the cases, making the resizing effort noticeably greater.

It does NOT take the place of lube for resizing rifle cases. It just slicks up pistol cases.

did my first batch today the ss pins came in the mail, I used the armor all wash n wax with
lemishine,
harbor freight tumblers it did not cost much to try this method all I can say is WOW
im sold.
