Star barrel interchangeability?

I want to use a model B barrel, in my Model A (essentially, swap the barrel from my Modelos Super, out with a Model B barrel) does anyone know if that works?

Yup I did it myself. Mine isn't a super though.

I don't see how. The Modelo Super uses a Browning M-35 locking system, doesn't it, as opposed to the Colt 1911 style for the other Star?

The only Star I have is a 9mm Super B. It has a High Power type barrel cam, as Lone Star says, instead of a swinging link like a Colt 1911.
