Anybody ever tried these Star bullets. To my Zip 1000 125 JHP's would be 57.27 shipped. Not bad at all.

I shot a bunch of Star .45s and have some 9mms that are doing ok.
The company folded up at least a couple of years ago; apparently is back in production.

Jim,

Do you have any usable contact info for (the restarted) Star Bullets? None of the email info I have, nor the info that is accessible from their abandoned website has put me in contact with them. I'm running low on my stash and really don't feel like looking for a replacement bullet.

Thanks!

B.T.,

All I know is that Walkalong is getting Star bullets from Champion Shooters. This is the first I have seen about them being back on the market.

Well, I ordered 4 Lbs of N32C "Cowboy" VihtaVuori Powder & 500 Star .38 Cal 125gr. JHP's from Champion Shooters. Never ordered from them before. Thought I would give them a chance.

Did you call or order online?

Did you get any shipping/tracking info yet?

Did it online. I received a confirmation email with a printable invoice. (I had already done that when I placed the order, but it is nice to have.)

I have not yet received any shipping info. AC

I bought 1000 40 cal in the final throes of e-bay and with the shipment was a card with the following info:
STAR Ammunithion, Inc.
5520 Rock Hampton Ct.
Indianpolis, IN 46268
317-872-5840

I tried various url combos to find them online but to no avail. Hope this helps. I have used some of their 44 cal. in a 44 special and they worked fine and their price is gooooood.
Hope this helps.

Update

I called and talked to Champion Shooters and they are just selling off their remaining inventory of Star bullets. Star is out of buisness. He told me their web guy was supposed to have them off the site. They have very limited quantities of some bullets.

Folks on the Bullseye list that shot Star 185 LHPSWC have been trying out alternatives (clones?) from Zero and Precision Delta. Both seem promising.
