Star PS 45 broken firing pin

I think the firing pin is broken on my STAR PS .45. Does anybody have any links to completely dessaemble the slide so I can remove the firing pin. I think the PO dry fired it too much or something. I think it's the firing pin cause when I push on the back of the slide the firing pin dosen't show.

The rear sight has to be removed to reveal the firing pin retaining pin. Push the retaining pin out to release the firing pin. Here's the instructions http://www.star-firearms.com/firearms/manuals/downloads/a,b,m,p,s_manual.pdf

Over on the Gunboards forums in the spanish firearms forum there is a member named Bill Deshivs who makes new firing pins for Star pistols.

Man, what are the chances? I've got the exact same problem. I'm looking into some options right now. Ironhorse522, if you don't mind, let me know if you find anyone with these firing pins.

Early Star pistols DO NOT LIKE TO BE DRY-FIRED---it breaks the firing pin---they made a bunch of these pistols and parts might be out there---search the internet---good luck!
