Let's ignore practicality and just do it.

For the business minded people how would you start a business loading ammo in which no matter what circumstances you faced your personal life and finances would not be touched.

I am trying to figure out a direction and who or what I need to talk with or do.

Example

Business is ran without liability insurance or not enough and a gun blows up, how can you come out untouched?

Yes I am considering this as a possibility, the quotes on liability insurance are insane and make it UNPROFITABLE. With out the insurance I could make a fortune.

Shady sure but them are the brakes, I mainly want to create a company that leases equipment, etc, and hires 1 person who makes all the money. So at the end of the day "john-doe-ammo" owns nothing nor possess any assets.

Sounds like what my pappy used to say "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". There are lots of overhead in manufacturing ammo, not withstanding BATFE hoops, liability insurance, building, trained workers, brass, powder, bullets and most importantly primers. Other than that it is a piece of cake!! Good luck.

There's a reason that "boutique" reloaders have mostly disappeared. Back in NJ "Star" sold .38spl for $3/box with brass exchange. Some of the cases were cracked to below the seated bullet. I shot all of it, no problem. Ain't happening today. Joe

What makes you think that you won't be sued personally?
The corporate veil is easily pierced, especially if you are a one man operation.

Do you think the Texas Hammer, Dewey, Screwem & Howe, Saul Goodman Esq and everu other ambulance chasing personal injury attorney in the country isn't going to name you personally and professionally in a product liability lawsuit? They do, thats why the liability insurance rate is so high.

Pretty much the reason every gun store in America doesn't crank out their own ammunition.

if you really want to pursue this, hire a lawyer. This isn’t the sort of legal matter one wants to discuss with a bunch of anonymous strangers in a place accessible to everyone in the world with Internet access.
