Stayin in Lafayette Indiana

Comming into town for the 500 next month and will be staying outside Indy in Lafayette.

Anything special in knife stores there or the surrounding area?

Any areas to stay away from since flying in and won't have nutin with me.

Its not exactly a tourist destination. I can't think of any good knife shops anywhere near here, and even the gun shops aren't terribly special. There aren't any ranges that are out of the ordinary, either, but if you get the urge to go shooting, I would highly recommend you avoid the Flat Creek indoor range.

There's other stuff to do, Purdue has a nice looking campus, etc. Don't know what you're into, but I've been entertaining myself here for six years now, I could probably give you a few ideas if you send me a PM.
