Way off in the Akron/Canton area of Ohio.....

Here's the info you all need (whether you know it or not.)
We'll be running the 10-plate race course with a new twist - full-sized Pepper Poppers added along with shotgun and .22 race courses. Oh yeah, and did we mention that they're all air reset? And that we'll be running 6 people at a time?
Don't believe it? Skip the online flaming, just show up and see for yourself.

Cost will be $5 for the steel plate course, not sure what GTA is charging for their shoots, but feel free to look around on their website to find out. We're trying to turn this into a huge steel plate shoot so the more people we can get to show up, the more stuff we'll be encouraged to dream up for the next shoot... Bring your pistol, shotgun, .22, rifle, and subgun, if you got 'em.

There will be multiple ranges set up, and much more time spent shooting than waiting due to the speed with which we can run the air reset plates at.

Hope to meet a lot of you guys there! Be sure to stop by and mention that you're on The High Road to Brian at Bulletcamp. He'll be in the yellow Range Officer shirt on the Bulletcamp side.

Brian runs a top-notch course with top-notch equipment. If you get a chance to stop out and see this setup, I'm sure you'll be impressed.

If you've never tried plateshooting, this is a great place to start. Don't let the terms "race course" frighten you away. I'm not a real quick shot, but the course is fun and challenging.

I'm going to try and make it this Sunday afternoon. Hope to see you there!

Bluesman, Thanks for the great feed back about the course, and letting every one know that you don’t have to race to have fun on this course. With all the work that goes into setting up the air resetting plates, I forget how fun and addicting this is (you would think I would get time to shoot my own stuff but the truth is I don’t get to do it that often). Come rain or shine. We will have E-Z up tents to protect from the elements. With this being a new shoot there shouldn’t be any waiting and we will be running six people at a time. So bring everyone down and we hope to see you all there.

Tom - You're not gonna look all that great with your CZ shoved into your waistband... ;)

Do you still have your SA1911? I'd love to give that a try on the plates. I'll let you borrow my PT145 if you'll be nice to me... :D

Bluesman you missed a good one. Tom you need more practice. Brian GREAT JOB!!! Anyone who has the chance to shoot a BulletCamp match should make it a MUST do. The set up Sunday while not a steel challenge set up wasn't to easy and talk about fast!! Four shooters at a time, 13 shots total to clear and an electronic panel to show the winner to the stop plate with no question. It took me longer to load my mags then it did to shoot them empty. Full course reset only takes a flick of the switch and about 10-15 sec total for the next shooters to be on the line. You could easily go through 200rds/hr with this set up. I'm already looking forward to the next time I can shoot a BulletCamp set up.

200 rds/hr sounds about right. I went through a little over 500, and us range officers didn't start shooting until about 3pm.

Thanks for your great reviews and it's great to hear you had a good time. I really enjoy setting this stuff up for people. I want to extend my thanks to falconer for all his hard work - it made everything run a lot smoother. I also want to thank Greenport Tactical and all the people at the range. You guys made this an enjoyable shoot and I look forward to seeing you all down there... How about Thursday? May 20th? 5-9pm we'll be doing it all over again.
Thanks again,
Brian
