Now that I actually OWN a suppressor, I realize that hand-threading your barrel is NOT the best course of action if your intentions are to install a suppressor. The threads must be aligned perfectly with the bore to prevent baffle strikes, which will destroy your high-dollar suppressor. AND the suppressor/mount bottoms out on a flat surface behind the threads which must also be perfect for proper alignment. This must be done in a lathe by someone who knows what he/she is doing.
The last barrel I had threaded was done by YHM, the maker of my suppressor. All this may be useless info, just trying to help a guy out
