Love the Dark tower series (I listen to the audio books). Not a big fan of the guy himself.

I find the "Army, Iraq" comment somewhat, no, really freakin offensive since I have entertained myself by reading his work while in the Army, in Iraq.

The guy is now an "official asshat".

SK is an idiot and a crappy, overrated author. Even more after the quote I heard from him on the Glenn Beck show today. This retard said something to the effect of, "People need to learn how to read. If they can read, they can walk into a job. If they can't, they'll end up in the Army or Iraq..." He said this at the Library of Congress. Effin' arsehole can go to hell for all I care.
