Steven Rinella host of Meateater - the new Zumbo?

Ok I stole this from over at AR15,com - doesn't he remember a guy name of Zumbo :banghead:

Has he not seen all the hunting focused AR15 rifles of recent years?

Earlier today while listening to NPR I heard Steven Rinella host of Meateater advocate an Assault Weapons Ban and poo pooed the thought of having trained Armed Citizens in the schools as contributing to School Safety.

Steven Rinella is a FUDD who thinks the Second Amendment is all about Duck Hunting.

Now I will not be watching Meateater in the future and will write a letter to the Sportsman Channel stating my beliefs.

That thread, as well as this one, is a misrepresentation of what he said. He said he has been thinking and doesn't know right now. He did not say they should be banned etc, nor did he say the 2A was exclusively about hunting.

I'd agree with Tim (thanks for the link by the way.) He's not a solid 2A advocate, but he's "just" a hunter. He's essentially neutral right now, and hasn't made up his mind.

He's being honest, as I think many hunters are.

I listened to the interview. I heard someone who enjoys the spotlight selling out his fellow hunters.

When you pursue a career like he has, you put yourself in the position of being a spokesperson. You not have the luxury of being ignorant or undecided. You are either 100% on the team or 100% unemployed.
