Hey guys need your help. Long story short, I just "inherited" a Stevens 66-B .22 that belonged to my late Grandfather. It is missing the entire bolt assembly. I can not for the life of me locate one, any suggestions?

I know that the assembly is gonna be more than the rifle is worth and Im ok with that. Me and some family members want to shoot it and keep it anyways. Street value may be low but sentimental value is through the roof, lol. Thanks in advance.

It was probably removed and stashed in a drawer or up on a closet shelf somewhere for safety reasons. I'd look around the house to see if it shows up, because you're unlikely to find one for sale by itself, even Numrich doesn't have them.

Ya, I remember Grandpa telling me he took the firing pin out. Was rather surprised to see the whole bolt missing. Maybe itll turn up one day...

Ask on ( www.rimfirecentral.com ), I've gotten some help with my 66-B there.

Ill check it out. Thanks for the link. Im not in any hurry so I guess its just a matter of time and a lil luck to catch one when it pops up.

Thanks again for the replys!
