I have a Stevens Favorite Model 30 rifle. It is a small single shot 22 rimfire that has a falling block action. I have been playing around with it lately. It is very accurate. Off hand I can tag tin cans out to fifty yards with its open sights. It is also very light and compact. I might just use this gun as my light hiking rifle.

Anyone else here have one?

got one, fairly accurate all things considered
really crude workmanship on 'em these days, current versions, and way too stiff hammer and trigger
I was buying a Chipmunk in advance for newest family arrival, "its a boy", and couldn't resist, those things having been around for so very very long

I've got a very nice one (bottom of picture) that my uncle left me when he died, It's in excellent shape.

10mm, when you care enough to send the very best.

I have one of the new production ones. Workmanship is nowhere near as nice as the originals, but it's very light and quite accurate. I added a Marbles tang sight to mine and I've shoot it in a local .22 Creedmoor match out to 300 meters.
