Steyr and Glock recoil springs

The recoil springs in Steyr M series pistols look a lot like the Glock ones. Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

A friend came over and brought his G22 so I checked it for you. The answer is no the do not. The G22 is longer and narrower with a smaller head. Other models might work though.
