Steyr-Mannlicher SM12, do I need this rifle?

Please read other posts from those that have Later Steyrs and are not overly pleased by the almost impossibility to replace the barrel, unless the rifle has that capability.

Good Lord, I cant imagine putting so many rounds through it that I would ever need to!

I'm one of the guys that burned out a Steyr Mod M barrel that's press fit.

1. I got 30 years worth of hunting/shooting with that Mod M. Still going to keep it as a loaner as it's still "minute of deer", just not what it used to be.
2. Check with Steyr, I don't think they're press fitting barrels anymore, I think they've gone to a threaded barrel now.

So I played with it a little more at lunchtime today. Its nice, for sure, but I dunno, it didnt get me all excited like a 2G gun should. Think Ill pass, thanks for the feedback, y'all.
