STI Spartan

OK, I'm just relating what the Armscor reps said at the SHOT Show.

They are assembled by STI trained Armscor workers and they all work in a separate area(which would make sense, since they use different internals), but it wasn't characterized as a Division...perhaps it really is "division" as opposed to "Division." Somehow I didn't get the impression that they wore STI logo workshirts or spoke with a Texas drawl ;)

Regardless of who said what to who, you would be hard pressed to get a quality 1911 for the Spartan price from anyone else AND have a quality company like STI standing behind it. Admittedly I know nothing about RIA beyond the overall positive comments I read from owners, but as the owner of a dozen STI pistols I can say their CS and lifetime warranty (if needed) can't be beat. To me that's a difference maker, but to others it may not be as important.
